By purchasing from Kaikoadesigns.com you are agreeing to the Terms & Conditions below.
All prices are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.
Please note that many items are not held in stock, and are made to order. This process takes time with all products being handcrafted. Our usual dispatch times are between 3-5 working days for items in stock, or an estimated 1-3 weeks for customised designs. There may be delays over the Christmas period, due to increased demand. If this occurs, please contact us to enquire about an estimated delivery date.
If you believe an item is faulty, you may have rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. The Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period may vary by product depending on the nature of the goods, the price paid, and any representations made about the goods.
Where you believe an item is faulty or damaged, Kaikoa Designs would need to access the item. Where this assessment comes to be of no fault of the buyer, you may choose a refund, exchange or repair. If the damage is minor, we will repair the item (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item) within a reasonable time.
Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, we cannot provide a refund, exchange or repair.
Please note, we require satisfactory proof of purchase (receipt or order number) before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Damaged in Transit
Please do not accept the delivery of goods that are obviously damaged. If the damage is only found upon unpacking, then please contact us as soon as possible. Our contact details can be found HERE. We will then arrange for the goods to be collected and a refund or replacement item sent out to you.
Not as Advertised/Incorrect item
If your order arrives and it is not what you ordered, please contact us to rectify the issue.
Ordered Wrong Goods
Please choose carefully as we do not offer a refund for change of mind. No order may be cancelled, modified or deferred without the prior written consent from us (which is at our sole discretion). If such consent is given, it is at our election, subject to us being reimbursed all losses, including loss of profits, and paid a cancellation fee (being not less than 20% of the invoice price of the Goods).
Delivery/Lost in Transit
Once goods have been dispatched, they are the responsibility of the Customer from the moment of dispatch to point of collection.
The courier we use is Sendle. Every order has insurance cover up to value of $100. If your item has a higher value, you can purchase Sendle Extra Cover, for orders valued up to $1500.
As it currently stands, Sendle do not ship to PO Box addresses. However, you will be given an alternative option if needed.
We take no responsibility for lost or stolen parcels when they have been delivered to the address given at checkout. If possible, please provide an address where someone will be able to receive the goods during business hours on weekdays. (i.e., your work address).
Shipping time frames can vary during certain times of the year such as Christmas, Easter and Public Holidays.
Delivery charges are calculated depending on the delivery postcode and country.
Kaikoa Designs will deliver anywhere in Australia. Overseas shipping is also available, however, delivery times and prices may vary.
Estimated Order Timeframes
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3-5 working days, unless the product needs to be customized, re-sized or made to order. Please refer to Product Availability.
You will receive an email when the goods have been dispatched to the courier, with details so your order can be tracked.
When an order is ready to be shipped, we will issue an estimated delivery date. This will give you an idea of how long parcels similar to yours typically take to travel the route you have chosen. Please remember that this is not a guaranteed delivery date as we send everything internally by road transport.
Please allow an estimated 2-14 business days postage time, depending on location and please ensure you have the correct postal address information entered upon checkout.
Zone 1 – New Zealand (10-14 working days)
Zone 2 – North America, Western Europe, Asia and the Pacific (10-28 working days)
Zone 3 – Rest of the World (14-21 Working days)

Kaikoa Designs values your rights and takes action to protect your personal and financial information. We only collect information to enable you to place an order, purchase a gift voucher or register for our newsletter. Under no circumstances will your personal information be sold or shared with third parties.
Kaikoa Designs will not send you any unwanted correspondence and will only send you emails to inform you of the progress of any orders or product information as part of our newsletter service.
